Co-sponsors of the bill include Senators Kasunic, Kitchen, Musto, Gordner, Orie, Corman, Wozniak, Lemmond, Pippy, Logan, Stout and Madigan. Please contact the Legislator in your district and ask them to support this important piece of legislation and help prevent further assaults on officers due to understaffing.

Read PSCOA President Don McNany's editorial expressing the importance of this legislation. The Grassroots approach we are taking requires help from everyone. We need to flood your Senators and Representatives with letters showing our unanimous support for SB 362.
Read PSCOA's press release demanding the resignation of SCI Mahanoy's Superintendent Klem, and the DOC's response. The second PSCOA press release, sent on March 4, 2005, responds to the DOC and their allegations. The third press release, sent on March 28, 2005, the result of yet another assault. We urge everyone to get involved with ensuring this bill passes through legislation. Please send a letter to your local Legislator requesting their support of this important bill.
