The PSCOA is, and has been, very active in Harrisburg fighting for legislation that will benefit H-1 and against legislation that could be detrimental to H-1.

As such, and in order to better keep its membership informed of what is happening in the political arena, the PSCOA will be sending out the Legislative Tracking Reports and Legislative Summaries that are provided by our Lobbyist, S. R. Wojdak & Associates, when they are received.

We ask that you share this information will all members of H-1.

Current Legislation

House Bill 50

An Act providing that employment shall not be conditional upon membership or nonmembership in, nor upon the payment or nonpayment of money to, a labor organization; and providing for bargaining, penalties and remedies. (General Assembly Bill Room)

Senate Bill 1040

An Act prohibiting a public employer from deducting from a public employee’s salary or wages any funds which inure to the benefit of a private organization. (General Assembly Bill Room)
